you guys are the coolest and the best.

i didn't realise that i would miss badminton so much,
i went to support the team yesterday,
and i never knew how much my heart would ache,
how much it would hurt,
to know that i will never play for our school again.

i cried.
tears others won't see,
cos i wiped them away
before anyone could see the traces of what was left of them.

haven't i told myself i won't cry?
haven't i said i would smile and move on.
it's hard,
to just let it go.

i went for c division training today.
i saw the smiles on my juniors' faces,
the innocent look of the sec ones,
and heard the incessant chattering of Soniya,
and saw the childishness of Yvonne,
i had never noticed such things until i was gone.

joy and shadow,
blended in a cauldron,
bittersweet.
like medicine mixed with sugar.
like torn photographs stuck back together with scotchtape,
like broken wings mended with love.

The world is a blessed place.
People just don't see the great in life till they are gone.
i regret,
not studying hard enough.

but yet,
even though my biggest love is gone,
and has left a scar deep in my heart,
i can still find a reason why i should continue living.

let me be the miracle in someone else's life,
because the people around me have been mine.
