Whenever i thought of what spurred me to keep running this marathon called life,
faces of special people flash through my head,
as if they were destined to shine the way for me,
to encourage me,
to motivate me,
to make sure i complete this race.

1. YVONNE LIEW QIAO YING
Sometimes, i ever wondered what life would be like if i never met you in Sec 1.
If we never became such good friends.
Thank you for always encouraging me when i feel down,
whether it was your childish antics,
or the times when you triumphed your own victories,
they never failed to inspire me to work harder.

2. ONG SHU HUI CELIA
My dear doubles partner,
you never gave up on me even if i played badly,
or when i quit the team.
You never ignored me, or even hate me.
I'm glad and honoured to have played doubles with you throughout my two years in TK BADDY.
You've inspired me to always be nice to people,and always forgive them for their mistakes. Thank you!

3. LILI MUSLIHAH
I only got to know you this year,
and a lot more about you when i interviewed you,
and when i sit next to you in lab.
The fact that you always looked at life so positively,
and made sure that you still stayed strong no matter what the obstacles before you were,
that inspired me to look at life differently.
To always be strong and look on the good side of life.

4. SANDRA YEO LE YING
Perhaps, you are one who knows me inside out.
Having lived with you for (close to) fourteen years of my life,
and seeing you grow from someone who constantly gets spanked for being mischievous,
to someone who self-motivates herself to soar higher in life,
has made me want to work harder,
and to prove to myself that i can do better.

No matter how many times you've failed,
no matter how many times you've been brought down,
you have stayed strong.
Whenever i see you making an effort,
i'll always reflect on whether i could be just like you,
someone who will chase her dreams,
